Step into an exciting contract role as an Occupational Therapist working in a supportive school environment near West Columbia, SC. In this position, you will have the rewarding opportunity to support students across PreK through 12th grade, helping them develop the skills they need for academic and personal growth.

This assignment runs from July 27, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You’ll work across two to three school sites, managing typical caseloads of about 45-50 students. Compensation ranges between $45-$55 per hour, offering competitive pay for experienced professionals.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Experience delivering OT services in a school-based setting is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, other therapists, and support staff to achieve student goals
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with diverse age groups, from PreK to high school students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct ongoing assessments, evaluations, and documentation of student progress
  • Develop and implement individualized and group therapy sessions
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Travel between 2-3 school sites as scheduled
  • Maintain up-to-date records and reports in alignment with school and regulatory policies
