Key Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of pediatric occupational therapy best practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective therapy plans for diverse student needs
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services in accordance with IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ functional abilities and needs
  • Develop and implement targeted interventions to improve fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate therapy records, and collaborate on IEP meetings
  • Educate and coach teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success in the classroom
  • Participate in school-based initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
