Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Connecticut Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Previous experience within schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities
- Ability to provide therapy services onsite across multiple campuses
- Adaptable, collaborative, and proactive approach to supporting various age groups
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to students per IEP, 504 plans, and teacher/caregiver referrals
- Conduct assessments and document ongoing progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Travel between multiple school sites as needed within the district
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
