Occupational Therapist School Setting in West Orange, NJ

You’ll have the freedom to choose part-time or full-time hours, with a current need for 2-4 hours per week serving children ages 9-10. Additionally, there’s potential to combine this schedule with a temporary preschool assignment, running from Thursday, October 8th through Wednesday, November 25th—the ideal way to broaden your experience and maximize your weeks. The leave coverage requires availability for five days per week during school hours, providing direct occupational therapy services and conducting evaluations in a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Skilled in delivering direct OT services, including assessments and interventions.
• Comfortable working with children ages 9-10, as well as preschool-aged students.
• Ability to adapt to various environments, including in-home service delivery.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational and developmental goals.
