Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT licensure (or eligibility) for the state
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with K-12 students, is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
  • Knowledge of IEPs, 504 plans, and the special education process
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage caseload independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments tailored to the needs of K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address fine motor, sensory, and functional living skills
  • Work closely with educators, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy recommendations into the classroom
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide direct therapy services in a nurturing, student-centered environment
  • Offer consultative support and training to school staff and parents as needed
  • Help foster an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere for all students
