Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
  • Experience working as an OT in educational and/or healthcare settings
  • Background in school-based OT services, including IEP development and collaboration with educators
  • Home health OT experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering student independence and participation

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students per their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and comply with documentation requirements
  • Participate in school team meetings, provide training, and support school staff when needed
  • Deliver home-based OT sessions as indicated in students' plans
