Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-8 students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist serving a vibrant school community near Westerville, OH. For the 2026-2027 academic year, you will assist 18 students with a total of 3,260 minutes of therapy per quarter, managing up to 12 hours per week. This position provides the opportunity to make a significant difference in students’ educational journeys, working closely with educators and families.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in Ohio
  • Previous experience in school-based, home health, or pediatric OT preferred
  • Strong background in delivering therapy to K-8 students with diverse needs
  • Proficiency in documenting therapy sessions and progress using electronic records
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage a flexible caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students, focusing on academic and daily living skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Conduct assessments and gather data to track student progress and modify interventions as needed
  • Provide direct therapy services, consultative support, and classroom strategies to maximize participation
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of student goals
