Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Ohio
- Experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Ability to engage with students, educators, and families to promote positive outcomes
- Flexible and resourceful in dynamic environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver OT assessments and individualized interventions as part of the educational team
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to address students’ unique challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
- Support students in acquiring skills necessary for school participation and daily functioning
