Occupational Therapist – School Setting (Westfield, MA)

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students in a school environment located in Westfield, MA. This role involves providing therapeutic services that enhance students’ functional abilities and support their academic success. The position requires travel to various school sites within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience working in school settings preferred.
• Ability to travel to multiple school locations within the assigned area.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of pediatric and adolescent developmental milestones and therapeutic practices.

Location: Westfield, Massachusetts, with travel required to neighboring schools within the district.
