Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility to obtain
  • Current OT certification (NBCOT)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering student independence and participation

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ occupational therapy needs in collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Provide direct interventions to support students’ functional skills
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school community
