Step into a rewarding school-based Occupational Therapy contract role supporting students in Carbon or Lehigh County, PA for the 2026/27 school year. This position offers a 35-hour work week, following the school calendar through mid-June 2027. The ideal candidate is experienced in delivering occupational therapy services across various student populations and is adaptable to changing assignments within the region.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license (required)
  • Educational Specialist I or II Certificate (required)
  • Comfortable serving students with a range of disabilities and support levels
  • Previous school-based, pediatric, or special education background preferred
  • Able and willing to commute within Carbon and/or Lehigh Counties
  • Availability for up to 35 hours per week aligned with the school day
  • Must attend an in-person interview

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based OT services to students according to IEP goals and district guidelines
  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and contribute to IEP team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress
  • Complete required assessments, documentation, and progress reports in a timely manner
  • Travel between assigned school sites as needed per placement
