Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)

- Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to identify barriers affecting their academic success and daily activities
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for student growth and development
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student integration and functional achievement
- Offer training and resources to school staff on strategies that can be used in the classroom setting
- Maintain organized and detailed records in compliance with all school and regulatory requirements
