Desired Qualifications:

• Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in school-based OT services preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and educational staff

• Commitment to ethical standards and fostering student independence

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services tailored to students’ unique developmental and educational needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Consult and collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom strategies and accommodations
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward therapy goals
• Advocate for student needs and help facilitate inclusive learning environments
• Engage families to encourage carryover of strategies and skills beyond school
