What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current, active OT license for the state of California
- School-based OT experience or knowledge of related educational guidelines preferred
- Comfortable navigating the K-12 environment; experience with students across all grade levels
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, supporting IEP goals, and documenting progress
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with educators, families, and support staff
- Flexibility for itinerant assignments and varied scheduling
In this role, you will:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students
- Perform assessments and evaluations using standardized protocols
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams during the Special Education process
- Communicate findings and recommendations to staff and families
- Adapt strategies for diverse caseloads and changing assignment needs
