This on-site, full-time contract opportunity seeks talented Occupational Therapists to support diverse learners with a wide range of abilities. Assignments may vary from working at a single campus to itinerant positions where you’ll impact several schools.

A strong understanding of the Special Education process, familiarity with standardized assessments, and confidence with educational terminology are essential in this dynamic position.

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current, active OT license for the state of California
  • School-based OT experience or knowledge of related educational guidelines preferred
  • Comfortable navigating the K-12 environment; experience with students across all grade levels
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, supporting IEP goals, and documenting progress
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills with educators, families, and support staff
  • Flexibility for itinerant assignments and varied scheduling

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students
  • Perform assessments and evaluations using standardized protocols
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams during the Special Education process
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to staff and families
  • Adapt strategies for diverse caseloads and changing assignment needs
