What you’ll bring:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (California)
- Experience working in K-12 school environments preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based OT evaluation, intervention, and IEP documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and faculty
- Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced educational setting
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct and indirect occupational therapy services to K-12 students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assessing student needs using appropriate tools and reporting on progress toward goals
- Collaborating with special education teams, teachers, and family members to design and implement strategies promoting students’ participation in academic and functional school activities
- Maintaining thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and district requirements
- Contributing to IEP meetings and providing training or resources to educational staff as necessary
