Essential Qualifications:

  • Active and valid North Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload across multiple school sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring OT support
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote student access and success in the school environment
  • Document student progress and maintain compliant records in a timely manner
  • Provide training and support to school staff and families as needed
