Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid state OT licensure
  • Previous experience in school settings, particularly with adolescents, preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for secondary students
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to integrate OT interventions into the classroom
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services both in individual and group settings
  • Monitor and document student progress in accordance with IEP goals and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to team decision-making, and provide recommendations
  • Educate teachers and families on strategies and accommodations to promote student success
