Make an impact in the educational field by supporting students as a contract Occupational Therapist over the summer. This role focuses on providing OT services within a high school and to young adults aged 18-22, with your expertise helping students achieve greater independence. With set hours Tuesday through Thursday and hands-on work exclusively on site, you’ll be engaged in dynamic, rewarding interactions every step of the way.

Assignment Details:

  • Contract runs from July 6, 2026 (orientation/setup) to August 6, 2026
  • Work days are Tuesday through Thursday; hours may vary by school location
  • Serve high school students and young adults ages 18-22

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license in Delaware, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Prior experience in school-based, home health, and/or healthcare OT roles highly preferred
  • Background working with adolescents and young adults with diverse needs
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual goals and learning environments
  • Available for in-person work across multiple school locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student OT needs, develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Work alongside educators, families, and other professionals to ensure consistent, targeted therapy
  • Document student progress and adjust goals as needed for optimal outcomes
  • Support transition goals for older students (18-22), promoting functional life and social skills
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
