Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the upcoming school year as an Onsite Occupational Therapist supporting students’ growth and functional success near Wilmington, DE. Multiple school sites have immediate needs for dedicated professionals with a passion for helping children and adolescents thrive in educational environments.

This contract spans from August 25, 2026, through June 8, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Openings include placements at elementary and secondary school levels, with specific assignments based on caseload needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Delaware Occupational Therapist license (must present license and resume to be considered)
  • Experience working within a school environment, providing occupational therapy services to diverse student populations
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
  • Not open to COTAs, as onsite supervision is unavailable at this time
  • Must be willing and able to obtain $85 CBC fingerprint clearance (candidates must confirm awareness and agreement before proceeding)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite occupational therapy services to students per IEP requirements
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and document progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ functional abilities in the classroom
  • Manage a defined caseload, with three specific openings:
    • Split between Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary
    • Mount Pleasant Elementary
    • Split between middle and high school sites
  • Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute to student plans
