Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in Delaware
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—educators, families, and other specialists
  • Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students, both in individual and small group sessions
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals and strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Provide consultative services and resources to school staff and families
  • Foster a positive, engaging atmosphere to promote student independence and achievement
