Qualifications and Background:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license required
  • Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP development, execution, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students' strengths and needs related to school performance
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting motor skills, sensory regulation, and participation in daily classroom activities
  • Work collaboratively with educators and other therapists to integrate interventions into the school day
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insight and recommendations
  • Educate and support school staff and families on strategies to maximize student success
