Key Qualifications:

  • Valid OT license in Maine
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Previous experience in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a varied student population from August 20, 2026, through June 9, 2027
  • Assess, plan, and execute individualized therapy interventions informed by student assessments and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student participation in school routines
  • Document progress, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance student independence and engagement
