Occupational Therapist School Setting in Winchester, NH

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapy certification in New Hampshire is required.
• Prior experience in a school-based OT setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy and familiarity with educational environments.
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to an elementary caseload, including a charter school student requiring two 30-minute pull-out sessions and one 30-minute push-in session per week.
• Conduct individualized assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals in the educational context.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions, student progress, and required reporting.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ needs for improved participation in school routines.
• Manage session scheduling, with the flexibility to provide charter school sessions in the morning before elementary classes.
