Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the full school year. This contract position provides a diverse caseload and the chance to collaborate with educators and families around Woodland Park, CO. Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
  • Experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms considered a plus
  • Strong background supporting fine and gross motor skills development
  • Experience working with K-12 populations
  • Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Implement and track individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student participation and progress
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver services in-person and, if needed, virtually using secure teletherapy platforms
  • Mentor or guide COTAs as appropriate in accordance with district and licensure guidelines
  • Maintain thorough documentation of interventions, progress, and outcomes
