This contract position provides a diverse caseload and the chance to collaborate with educators and families around Woodland Park, CO. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms considered a plus
- Strong background supporting fine and gross motor skills development
- Experience working with K-12 populations
- Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Implement and track individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student participation and progress
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver services in-person and, if needed, virtually using secure teletherapy platforms
- Mentor or guide COTAs as appropriate in accordance with district and licensure guidelines
- Maintain thorough documentation of interventions, progress, and outcomes
