School Occupational Therapist - Woodstock, Georgia

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist on a contract basis for the upcoming school term. This position runs from August 4th through October 23rd, providing crucial services to help students succeed in their educational environment.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll deliver occupational therapy within a school setting. Your expertise will make a meaningful impact, empowering students to achieve greater independence and participate fully in their academic and social experiences.

Preferred Background & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in the state
• Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Ability to work with diverse student populations, including those with disabilities
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Develop and implement customized intervention plans that promote student development
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to maximize student progress
• Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation for all student interactions
• Participate in meetings, assessments, and planning discussions for student services
• Offer guidance and support to staff regarding sensory, motor, and adaptive strategies
