As part of a collaborative team, you’ll deliver occupational therapy within a school setting. Your expertise will make a meaningful impact, empowering students to achieve greater independence and participate fully in their academic and social experiences.
Preferred Background & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in the state
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Ability to work with diverse student populations, including those with disabilities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Develop and implement customized intervention plans that promote student development
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation for all student interactions
- Participate in meetings, assessments, and planning discussions for student services
- Offer guidance and support to staff regarding sensory, motor, and adaptive strategies
