Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Vermont (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong familiarity with pediatric occupational therapy techniques and interventions
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, adaptable to varied caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as indicated through IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Document intervention and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success and classroom participation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on adaptive strategies and accommodations
- Manage a flexible caseload across 40 hours per week during the school calendar
