Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload across varying grade levels
- Positive, flexible attitude and commitment to student success
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person occupational therapy services to students, focusing on their unique developmental needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement appropriate interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote best outcomes and provide guidance on accommodations
- Monitor, document, and report student progress towards IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
