Occupational Therapist Wyandotte, MI

Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school team in Wyandotte, MI for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details

• Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Location: Wyandotte, MI
• Setting: School-based / onsite
• Schedule: Full-time
• Contract: 2026–2027 school year
• Pay: $45–$68/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Caseload: K-12 / based on district needs
• Employment: W2 contract through Soliant
• Michigan OT license: Required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students.
• Evaluate students and identify functional, sensory, motor, and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Support students in achieving their IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families.
• Provide strategies and recommendations to support students in the classroom.
• Document services and monitor student progress.
• Help students develop the skills necessary for greater independence and success at school.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• NBCOT certification preferred/required as applicable
• School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
