Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school team in Wyandotte, MI for the 2026–2027 school year.
This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who wants the stability of a full school-year assignment, meaningful student relationships, and the opportunity to collaborate with educators and other professionals to help students succeed academically and functionally.
Position Details
- Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)

- Setting: School-based / onsite
- Schedule: Full-time
- Contract: 2026–2027 school year
- Pay: $45–$68/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Caseload: K-12 / based on district needs
- Employment: W2 contract through Soliant
- Michigan OT license: Required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students.
- Evaluate students and identify functional, sensory, motor, and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Support students in achieving their IEP goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families.
- Provide strategies and recommendations to support students in the classroom.
- Document services and monitor student progress.
- Help students develop the skills necessary for greater independence and success at school.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- NBCOT certification preferred/required as applicable
- School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
