An exciting contract opportunity awaits a skilled Occupational Therapist passionate about making a difference in the school setting. This full-time leave coverage role begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of November, supporting students in both elementary and middle school grade levels. As a valued member of a collaborative educational environment, you'll empower young learners to reach their fullest potential while working alongside dedicated educators and support staff.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a current Occupational Therapist license for the state of Ohio
• Possess valid ODE certification
• Experience working in a school-based setting, providing services to elementary and/or middle school students
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school teams
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit a diverse caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to individual education plans (IEPs)
• Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans to address students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing input and recommendations for student success
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all direct and indirect services
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment and support students’ educational goals
