Occupational Therapist School Setting in Xenia, OH

We’re seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide support for a leave coverage assignment through December 18th in the Xenia, OH area. This is an excellent chance to gain valuable school-based experience while contributing vital services to students in need.

Preferred qualifications:

• Current OT or COTA license in Ohio
• Active Ohio Pupil Services Certification
• Previous experience in schools is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt and provide creative solutions in a dynamic environment

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs and related plans
• Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and school staff to support student development
• Document sessions, progress, and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
• Adjust interventions as needed to fit the unique needs of each student
• Ensure open communication with parents and staff regarding student progress
