Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
- Valid OT license in New York State
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering students’ functional independence and participation in school life
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and developmental goals
- Adapt interventions and strategies to meet diverse student needs across elementary, middle, and/or secondary school settings (final caseload/buildings to be confirmed)
