Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid OT license in New York State
  • Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Commitment to fostering students’ functional independence and participation in school life

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and developmental goals
  • Adapt interventions and strategies to meet diverse student needs across elementary, middle, and/or secondary school settings (final caseload/buildings to be confirmed)
