School Occupational Therapist - Ypsilanti, Michigan

Bring your expertise as a dedicated Occupational Therapist to a rewarding contract position serving students in a dynamic educational environment near Ypsilanti, MI. Two full-time opportunities are available, one supporting elementary-level learners and another focusing on high school students for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll play a vital role in helping students reach their highest potential through evidence-based therapy and collaborative support.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
• Previous experience in school-based OT services, home health, or related healthcare settings
• Ability to assess and implement individualized interventions for children and adolescents
• Strong organizational skills and a passion for inspiring young learners
• Effective communication with students, educators, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to assigned students, ensuring therapy goals are met in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other support personnel to promote student success
• Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports in compliance with school and state standards
• Educate families and staff about therapy strategies for classroom, home, and community environments
• Advocate for each student’s unique needs within the school system
