Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy and academic accommodations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Organized, self-motivated, and flexible in adapting to changing needs

Responsiblities:

• Assess students’ abilities and create individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and functional challenges
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Document assessments, progress notes, and session reports according to school protocols
• Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to provide strategies and modifications that promote student independence
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute insights to inform educational planning
• Provide education and resources to families as needed
