This full-time, onsite contract position offers a chance to make a direct difference in the lives of children across a diverse caseload. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school-based setting.
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Adaptability to address varying student needs across K-12 grade levels.
- Commitment to upholding privacy and ethical standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students on site.
- Conduct assessments, create intervention plans, and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings and support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Document therapy sessions and maintain appropriate records in compliance with district standards.
- Engage with colleagues and caregivers to facilitate students’ participation and success in the school environment.
- Foster a supportive, creative, and inclusive therapy atmosphere.
