Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
  • Experience or strong interest in working within a school-based setting.
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families.

  • Adaptability to address varying student needs across K-12 grade levels.
  • Commitment to upholding privacy and ethical standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students on site.
  • Conduct assessments, create intervention plans, and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings and support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain appropriate records in compliance with district standards.
  • Engage with colleagues and caregivers to facilitate students’ participation and success in the school environment.
  • Foster a supportive, creative, and inclusive therapy atmosphere.
