Occupational Therapist School Setting - Yukon, OK

Both openings are full-time contract roles:

• A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position running from mid-December through May.
• An Occupational Therapist (OT) position available from February through May.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Previous experience within school settings is highly desirable, though not required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for helping children achieve their goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group occupational therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
• Work alongside teachers and other staff to support student participation in classroom activities
• Document student progress, therapy sessions, and update treatment plans as needed
• Educate and communicate with parents and caregivers about strategies for student success
• Maintain a flexible, adaptable approach to support varying caseloads and student needs
