Occupational Therapist School Setting - Yuma, AZ

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapy License is current and required
• IVP Fingerprint Card is required and valid
• Previous experience or strong interest in school-based OT services preferred
• Solid communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to various age groups and developmental levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver on-site occupational therapy assessments and interventions for PreK-8th grade students, based on individualized needs
• Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to develop therapy plans that support student participation, access, and functional independence
• Regularly document student progress, contributing to IEPs and maintaining compliance with school and state standards
• Provide training, support, and consultation for staff and families
• Manage scheduling and caseload responsibilities in a school setting
