Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and development in an onsite school-based role near Yuma, AZ. From August 2026 to May 2027, you’ll provide vital occupational therapy services to a diverse student population from PreK through 8th grade. With a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, you’ll make a lasting difference in young lives by helping them achieve their greatest potential within the school environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Active and valid Arizona Occupational Therapy (OT) license
  • Current IVP Fingerprint Card
  • Prior experience delivering OT services within a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric and educational therapy strategies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Professional communication and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic caseload (to be determined)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ OT needs in PreK-8th grade
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and developmental goals
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches to promote students’ independence and participation
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Provide training and support to classroom staff as needed
  • Uphold all regulatory and ethical standards for school-based OT
