Step into a valuable role supporting students as a full-time paraprofessional in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to make an immediate difference in the lives of children, working collaboratively with dedicated educators and staff. Starting as soon as possible through the end of the academic year (around June 20th), you will provide essential assistance in classroom environments, ensuring every student has the support they need to thrive.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide, especially within elementary school settings
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children with diverse learning needs
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate patience, flexibility, and empathy
• Familiarity with instructional techniques and curriculum adaptation is a plus
• Reliable, professional, and able to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere for all students
• Deliver individualized or small group support under the direction of certified educators
• Help with classroom activities, lesson implementation, and behavior management
• Support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
• Assist with documenting student progress and communicating updates to educational teams
• Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times

This full-time role consists of approximately 30 hours per week, providing a consistent presence for students and staff at a vibrant elementary school. You will be a crucial partner in nurturing a supportive learning environment, encouraging student independence, and helping children reach their full potential.
