Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar role in a school setting is highly valued
• Comfortable working with students from elementary through transition-age (ages 5–22)
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Positive, supportive, and patient approach to student challenges and development
• Capable of maintaining accurate student records and providing feedback to educators

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom and individual support to help students access curriculum and participate in activities
• Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies
• Help maintain a structured and nurturing classroom environment
• Support students with daily routines, social skills, and academic tasks
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student growth
