Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide preferred
• Ability to work effectively with children and young adults ages 5-22
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a caring attitude when supporting students with varying needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or relevant coursework a plus
• Must be able to commit to onsite, in-person work for the duration of the contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in classroom management, instruction, and student engagement
• Support students individually or in small groups, including those with special learning needs
• Aid with daily routines, academic tasks, and activity transitions
• Collaborate with educators and related service staff to foster a positive learning atmosphere
• Uphold confidential and professional standards at all times
