Step into a rewarding role fostering student safety as a Vehicle Assistant supporting daily transportation needs. As a valued team member, you'll work closely with drivers to ensure that students travel securely and comfortably to and from school each day. This contract assignment runs from ASAP through June 2027, following the local school calendar.

A typical day includes morning (6am-9am) and afternoon (1pm-5pm) shifts, allowing for a mid-day break. This structure supports a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in your community.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience working with children
• Familiarity with paraprofessional responsibilities in a school or childcare setting
• CPR certification (online accepted)
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 30-35 minutes of Walnutport, PA
• Commitment to PA DOE credentialing requirements
• Two positive supervisor references specific to paraprofessional roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist drivers with safe and courteous student transportation
• Support students during loading, unloading, and in-transit
• Maintain a calm, positive environment on the vehicle
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and families
• Uphold all safety procedures and policies
