## Position Overview

## Responsibilities

* Provide classroom and instructional support to teachers
* Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially throughout the school day
* Support students with IEPs and individualized learning needs
* Work with students individually and in small group settings
* Help maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
* Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and student engagement

## Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required
* Previous experience working with children preferred
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work effectively with students and school staff

## Pennsylvania Requirements

Candidates may be required to complete the following:

* PA State Criminal Background Check
* PA Child Abuse Clearance
* FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
* School districts may also require completion of paraprofessional training or additional onboarding requirements

## Preferred Experience

* School, childcare, or youth support experience
* Special education or behavioral support experience preferred
* ABA experience is a plus
* Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
