As a paraprofessional in a Setting 4 site, you'll engage with elementary through high school learners who receive special education services for the entirety of their day. This contract opportunity spans from September 8, 2026, to June 10, 2027, offering 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Your expertise will contribute to a dedicated team making an impact in the lives of students with significant behavioral and developmental needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Must meet Minnesota “Highly Qualified Paraprofessional” requirements by either:
- Passing the MN Para Educator Exam
- OR possessing at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required; diplomas do not suffice)
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with severe disabilities and behavioral challenges
- Comfort and willingness to assist with toileting and other personal care tasks as needed
- Flexibility to work with students across elementary, middle, or high school age ranges (preference can be indicated)
- Reliable, professional, and able to work consistently during contracted hours
- Resume and proof of highly qualified status must be submitted for consideration
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small group support to students with significant needs
