Make a daily difference in the lives of elementary students as a dedicated paraprofessional supporting classrooms throughout the Anoka-Hennepin area! As part of a dynamic educational team, you'll have the opportunity to choose your preferred school site from a number of welcoming elementary schools, working closely with teachers and students to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule—32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday—with a start date of August 31, 2026, running through November 29, 2026. Upon completion of approximately 422 hours, there is the potential for you to become a direct hire.

What we're seeking:

• Highly qualified status, achieved by:
  • Passing the Minnesota ParaEducator Exam (must provide score) OR
  • Completing at least 60 college credits, with official transcripts provided (diplomas are not accepted)
• Experience working with children or diverse student populations preferred
• Flexibility and willingness to assist with toileting and general support responsibilities
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to select and specify which school location you are most interested in

Responsibilities include:

• Providing instructional support and encouragement to students in classrooms
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff to help ensure every child’s success
• Supporting students with day-to-day activities and personal care needs as required
• Assisting in the implementation of individualized education plans
• Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners

This contract role offers competitive hourly compensation at $20 per hour.
