Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Meet ONE of the following highly qualified requirements prior to consideration:
    • Pass the Minnesota Board Paraprofessional Exam (Para Educator Exam), OR
    • Possess at least 60 completed college credits (transcripts required; diplomas are not accepted)
  • Ability to collaborate within unique teams at each high school site
  • Willingness to assist with all student support needs, including toileting as requested
  • Strong communication, reliability, and adaptability for working five days a week (32.5 hours/week)
  • Must submit a current resume and either passing exam results or transcripts for eligibility review

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to high school students in classroom settings and throughout the school day
  • Implement teacher-directed instruction and learning plans, including individualized education program (IEP) assistance
  • Support students’ needs both academically and with daily living skills as assigned
  • Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and collaborate with staff
  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive environment and promote student independence
