Instructional Aide in Andover, MN

Multiple contract positions (3 total) are available for highly qualified paraprofessionals, structured to transition into direct, long-term roles after the initial contracting period.

Assignment Details:

• Contract period: September 3, 2026 – December 2, 2026 (90-day contract before possible direct hire consideration)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week
• Hours: 9:10 AM – 4:10 PM
• Roles: 1 Center-Based, 2 Resource/Setting 1 & 2 positions
  • Paraprofessionals in Setting 1/2 typically support one grade level in the morning and a different grade in the afternoon.
• Willingness to assist with toileting is required for all supporting staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current resume and highly qualified documentation (required for consideration)
• Qualification by ONE of the following:
  • Passing score on the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (attach score)
  • At least 60 completed college credits (official transcripts required; diplomas/degrees alone are insufficient)
• Ability to adapt to dynamic classroom environments and collaborate as a supportive, reliable team member

• Provide direct assistance to students and teachers, supporting academic and behavioral goals
• Implement individualized supports as directed
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment
• Support classroom management and help facilitate daily routines

Compensation:

• Hourly pay rate is $20 per hour
