Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in a K-12 Setting 4 program near Andover, MN. Thirteen paraprofessionals are needed to provide dedicated assistance beginning September 8, 2026, through December 7, 2026. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, working Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., making it ideal for those seeking a stable work-life balance during the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Must meet state Highly Qualified requirements for paraprofessionals before presentation:
  • Option 1: Successfully pass the MN Paraprofessional Educator Exam, providing official score documentation.
  • Option 2: Provide official transcripts showing a minimum of 60 college credits (please note diplomas or degrees do not suffice).
• Experience working with K-12 students, especially in Setting 4 or special education environments, is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to helping students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers and licensed staff in delivering individualized instruction and behavior support.
• Assist with daily routines, academic activities, and transitions for students with diverse needs.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with staff to implement IEPs, behavior support plans, and classroom management strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation as required by the district.
• Communicate effectively with team members and assume other duties as assigned.

• After 422 contracting hours, candidates may be eligible for direct hire conversion.
