Classroom Assistant | Andover, Minnesota

Support young learners at a center-based program for children ages 2½ to 3 as a paraprofessional within a dynamic contract assignment. This position begins September 8, 2026, and runs through December 7, 2026, offering a consistent weekday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. As part of this team, you'll help foster development and success for early childhood students in an engaging educational setting.

Qualifications:

• Must be highly qualified through one of the following:
  • Passing the Minnesota Board's ParaEducator Exam (documentation of passing score required)
  • Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
• Experience working with young children, especially ages 2–3, is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Enthusiastic about supporting young learners with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized support plans for children
• Assist students in developing basic skills—social, emotional, academic, and behavioral
• Supervise and engage students during activities, meals, and transitions
• Provide a nurturing, safe, and positive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records and follow program guidelines
