Key Qualifications:

• Must be "highly qualified" as defined by meeting ONE of these criteria: • Passing score on the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Minnesota Para Educator Exam) • Minimum of 60 college credits (official college transcripts must be provided; photos of diplomas/degrees not sufficient)
• Previous experience working with children or in elementary school settings is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and adapt to various classroom environments
• Ability to reliably work a 32.5-hour week, Monday through Friday
• Organized, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Highly qualified documentation and a current resume must be provided upon application

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support for students under teacher supervision
• Help reinforce learning, monitor student progress, and assist with classroom activities
• Support teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and student behavior plans
• Contribute to the inclusive, positive culture of the school site
• Demonstrate flexibility when supporting students with varying needs, including DCD and center-based programs
