Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working with students in educational or childcare settings is highly valued
• Ability to build rapport with children of varying abilities and backgrounds
• Familiarity with classroom routines, instructional support techniques, or individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude when facing new challenges
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in Education or related fields preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in supporting classroom instruction and daily routines
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need additional support
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Aid with the implementation of accommodations and modifications outlined in student plans
• Support students with transitions throughout the school day
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities as required
