Instructional Assistant - Anoka, Minnesota

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be highly qualified via ONE of the following: • Passing score on the MN Paraprofessional Educator Exam • At least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability and willingness to assist with toileting and provide essential support to students
• Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is preferred
• Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and upholding school policies

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support and individualized assistance to students, under the guidance of licensed teachers
• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment
• Assist with daily activities, including toileting and mobility needs, as necessary
• Support the implementation of behavior and educational plans
• Work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families to promote student growth

This contract spans 90 days and runs from approximately August 31, 2026, to November 29, 2026 (32.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday), with the potential to transition to a direct-hire role upon successful completion of the assignment. The compensation for this position is $20 per hour, as determined by district guidelines and candidate qualifications.
