Make a meaningful difference in the lives of high school students as a highly-qualified paraprofessional staffed through a 90-day contract assignment. This opportunity invites dedicated professionals to contribute to inclusive educational communities across multiple school sites, working closely with both educators and students. Please indicate your preferred school site from Blaine High School or Champlin Park High School when submitting your application.

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required) OR a passing score on the Minnesota Para Educator Exam
  • Recent experience supporting high school students or working within classroom settings preferred
  • Willingness to assist students with all daily living needs, including toileting, as part of the support team
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with instructional and support staff
  • Ability to commit to 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the full contract duration

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to students within inclusive educational environments
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to facilitate instructional activities and individualized accommodations
  • Assist students with classroom tasks, mobility, personal care, and safe transitions between school locations
  • Uphold a respectful, caring, and patient environment that encourages student growth and participation
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development when required
