Qualifications:

• Must meet ONE of the following:
  • Achieve a passing score on the Minnesota Para Educator Exam, OR
  • Hold at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required for presentation)
• Ability and willingness to assist with toileting and personal care as needed
• Experience collaborating with teachers and supporting diverse groups of students is highly desirable
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate patience, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Reliability and commitment to fulfilling the contract period

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support and one-on-one assistance to high school students, guided by instructional staff
• Implement lesson and activity accommodations to meet a variety of student needs
• Assist with personal and behavioral needs, including toileting support when necessary
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation as requested by school teams
