Qualifications:
- Must meet ONE of the following:
- Achieve a passing score on the Minnesota Para Educator Exam, OR
- Hold at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required for presentation)
- Ability and willingness to assist with toileting and personal care as needed
- Experience collaborating with teachers and supporting diverse groups of students is highly desirable
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate patience, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Reliability and commitment to fulfilling the contract period
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct classroom support and one-on-one assistance to high school students, guided by instructional staff
- Implement lesson and activity accommodations to meet a variety of student needs
- Assist with personal and behavioral needs, including toileting support when necessary
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation as requested by school teams
